Let the police do their job, you have insurance, they're willing to work it out with you, it's over from your stand point. The only thing investigating yourself is going to do is get you in trouble, and you don't need that.
What are you going to do if you found out the SRT-4 guy stole your ride or had it stolen? Go in there and beat him up? Assault is serious business and carries serious penalties, this isn't highschool, so just chill out a little.

sorry to hear for your loss. I posted a couple weeks back about my car being broken into (but not stolen) and how many cars in the maryland area are being stolen and stripped. For those who live in MARYLAND/DC area keep an eye out on your car. For those who don't have alarms or low jack, get them. Again sorry for your loss and I hope they are caught.

the cops have taken this kid into custody today who works at the garage and owns a srt-4 he has a few charges on his record for theft they questioned and within the hour he was gone.SOOOO i am at the police station waiting for him to walk outand i follow his little punk *** to the store hes with his gf he pulls up to the store i get out and tell him to come here real quick
and im not sure if its just me or not be this ****er has this look on his face like of pure guilt . im talking to him about it asking if many guys with cars like us park up there(i say like us tyring to make him feel like im cool with him and his lil punk *** neon) he says says theres a wrx and a few hondas so im like ok bla bla bla bla and send him on his way
so im just flippin out cause im tired of drving my girls se-r altima i got parts comin in i wanna install on my ix and to top it all off i just remembered my brand new xbox 360 i got from my girl for christmas is still in the trunk so......... wadda ****in week and its just monday

just curious, what's the name of the parking garage? is it a big chain, like CENTRAL or what? u can mostlikely get money from then since they claim they have cameras, but useless. And I want to know how the car was stolen. Flatbed or what? Is there a garage employee where you enter and exit the parking garage that should've seen anything? That really sucks man.
