Go to your friendly Mits dealer and have them locate one for you. Shouldn't be a problem. Also glad to hear you didn't get jerked around by your insurance company. Who do you have BTW?

Just saw your post. Sorry. The back of Autoweek classifieds has this dealer ad every week:

" 2006 evos, all models, no dealer mark-ups. Manchester Mitsubishi.

Jim Wilt, 800-749-3934 (NH) manchestermitsubishi.com "

When I lived in NJ, car theft just became a joke. I never even bothered with an alarm. If they want it, they will get it. I just don't want it back, especially if they trashed it trying to take it away. I know it sucks, but thieves aren't worth the hassle. They can't afford what they want, so they prey on those of us who can. Get GAP if you finance, whole replacement cost if you own it outright = sleep at night. Good luck finding your next evo.

Nationwide Insurance, huh?

That's pretty unusual for them to not even wait a few days for the stolen car to turn up and be recovered before cutting a check to you. Most insurers require that a car reported stolen be missing for 30 days before they will pay out on a theft claim...

**** if they are gonna give you 35k I am gonna start leaving my car unlocked with the keys in the ignition with windows down and a big *** sign saying steal me in flashing neon letters then go buy another with ssl for 32k and do it over and over and over and quit working 35k is more than blue book that is very suprising that they would give you so much of a donation new car value 31k if you were to buy it from south coast mitsu it'd be like 32k w/ssl so I mean that is basically free $

I had a car stolen 10 years ago and I had LoJack on it. I called 911 and the operator said my LoJack gets turned on only after I file a police report. I was lucky to be working at a bank and an off-duty police officer was in line who took my information to work with her. Otherwise I would've had to flag down a passing cop or go to the police station. LoJack policy may have changed since then, but it's not like the 911 operator can activate your LoJack transponder. LoJack is for car recovery, not car thief recovery.

That Xbox is way WAY gone. The SRT-4 guy is probably playing GT-4.
