anyone with sparco fighter seats?
anyone with sparco fighter seats?
I was wondering how the sparco fighter red seats looked in a red evo.
also, do bigger people have problems fitting in comfortably with this seat?
thanks.

I think they might just look Red
thanks, but I wanted to see how it fits inside of an evo. clearance on the center console, etc.
some visual aid would be good.
this is what the seat "LOOKS LIKE RED". but need to see this inside the car, in real life picture, instead of the done up studio picture for the company.
thanks.

A friend of mine had these in his 240 for a while, it felt OKAY when I sat in his car, by no means am I a "big" person (5'9"/180) though, the one thing does turn me off is that you can't really adjust the seats.
I have Sparco Evo seats in my Evo. The main clearance problem is the "wings" at the top of the seat, and I looked and the Fighter is only a little bit wider than the Evo, so that should be fine. As far as if you'll fit in the seat, how big are you? I'm 5'10" 170, and the Evo is a snug fit. The Fighter appears to be a little bigger.
Something to be aware of, is that Sparco seat bases tend to raise your seating position. My friend put in Sparco Torinos in his GSX, and he had to have the brackets modified to get the seats down. I had custom brackets made to get my Evo's where I wanted them.
The problem with the Evo, is the nuts that mount the seat at the front are right where you want sliders to be. It's therefore necessary to have some rise to the seat base to clear those nuts for the sliders. I don't have any experience with the bottom mount seats, but you should be aware that you might end up with a seating position higher than stock, and if that's unacceptable, you're going to have extra expense either getting custom seat bases, or having the Sparco base modified.

Yeah, what nubby said. The Sparco brackets for my Monzas were junk, and it was a costly PITA to get them modified to work in my GSX. I needed them lowered an inch or more.
Anyhow, I'm 6'2", 205 lbs, and I fit comfortably into nubby's EVOs. It takes some gymnastics, however, which may get tiresome on a daily basis. I'd imagine they'd look sweet in a red EVO, however. I'd get some extra material from Sparco, as well, and have the rear seats reupholstered to match. Good luck.

With bottom mount flat base brakets you will actually be a little lower then the stock seat.
If you get the tabbed mount base you can be original height or higher.
With side mount seats it will be a little higher then stock on the very bottom position if you are using sliders.
I have these seats in stock. I can take a more natural picture for you if you wish.
The fighter is one of my favorite seats because the sides are not to high so it make it easy to get in and out of the car.

great, thanks for the comments.
i'm 5'11, 200lb, but not huge, just have large wide shoulders and my rib sides are fairely big.
I was looking at the spec and fighters are similar to milano in sizes.
Sparco Fighter's bottom mount? I need to get the right bracket for it.
thanks.

Here's the seat dimension guide from Sparco so you can compare the seats:

Oh, I got one of my Evo's from Rally Sport, and can recommend them. The other I can't remember where I got it, it was during the great Sparco drought of 2005 and I was scrambling to find an Evo in stock because I had sold my OEM seats.

yes fighters are bottom mounts so you will not need to purchase side mounts.
Just base --> Silder ---> Hardware(nuts and bolts) --- Seats
if needed I can break it down into part numbers and retail prices.
