Warranty Voiding...

Does anyone know if putting a Intercooler pipe kit on the evo would void the warranty. I assume it wouldnt be that bad because you are not touching the internals. Also will an exhaust header void the warranty? Thanks for any help.

errrr...i'd just double check, not using mobil 1 oil can void an evo warranty. Im sure they are going to be very precise about that type of stuff.

really depend on the dealer, but they could refuse to honor warranty based on that!

a dealer can not force you to use a specific brand of oil. They can only say you must use fully synthetic oil. Forcing you to use a specific brand of oil is against the law and other oil manufactures can sue them for it. Also a dealer can not void an entire warrenty for a single issue. they can only deny a claim if something you did directly effected want you are making a claim for. (example: Your transmission falls out. They can not deny the warrenty claim because you put in a differnt radio)
