In a bind?

I just recently purchased an evo 8 about a month ago. I love the car to death. When i bought the car i checked on insurance and it was going to be $140 a month. To make a long story short I got a call from my insurance company saying that they were going to be dropping me becuase they just did a license check and realized that i had 3 tickets. So I just started shopping around and the cheapest I can find insurance is almost $350 a month which is more then the car payment. I know that i am not going to pay 350 a month for insurance. so if i can't find cheaper insurance i am going to have to sell the evo which i really don't want to do. So I was wondering who you guys have for insurance that is cheap. I am pretty sure i am kinda screwed being a 20 year old with three tickets. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

That's rough. Been there done that. My last year of college I almost lost my license due to too many speeding tickets on my record. Now my record is clean and I'm paying ONLY $52.00 a month for my 06 Evo MR.

There is hope. Just switch cars for a couple years and let your record clear.

Who are you with and what kind of coverage? I thought I was doing well for $80 a month in Milwaukee...

Try some of the internet insurance companies. They see four door sedan and some don't charge as much because of that. However, 20 with three tickets isn't going to help no matter what you drive. Clean record here and 26 but I still pay around 850 for 6 months. About 150 a month.

State farm. 32 no tickets yet. 90$ per month.

Get your parents to let u go under their ins, if they will let u. Give the car to your parents as a gift (tax free), then get insured under them. Just dont **** up.

24, clean record, full coverage, 370 every 6 months and use Allstate.

Your best bet, is to but it on under your parents name and be a secondary driver. That is what I did when I had my 2g GSX, now my evo is under my name.

Transfer ownership of the car to your mother or your father and buy insurance under their name. Thats what I did and I pay 150 per month
