USDM IX = Evo IX GT

Don't you think? The GT doesn't have the AYC, has a 5 speed....etc etc....the GSR has AYC and a 6 speed....

It's a GT in my opinion.

Discuss.

The GT has the new turbo as well which gives it a little bit more torque. Does the USDM version get that?

Differences between a GT and GSR according to a japanese mag. (Hyper Rev):
1) GT= 1.5 way LSD GSR= S-AYC
2) GT= Recaro Seats /w cloth and Suede GSR= Recaro /w leather(?) trims
3) GT= 5 sp. GSR=6 sp.
4) GT= Advan A046D Tires GSR= Advan A046 tires
5) GT has no rear window wiper, GSR does
6) Price Difference b/w GT and GSR 25,8741 Yen or 2242 USD
GT has 407 Nm of torque compared to 400 Nm of GSR.
GT is also 20 Kg lighter than GSR but 70 kg heavier than RS

Well, thats what I could deduce from the mags. So, if GT=USDM Evo 9, then is GSR=USDM MR?

No, because I don't think the GSR has the bilstein shocks, the rear window defuser, the gauge panels, and some other stuff.

The MR is the MR, and the RS is the RS, but the GSR is not the GT and....NM this is ending up like an SAT question....

If a train leaves chicago traveling at......nm, seriously I'll stop.

Actually, the GSR does have Bilstein shocks, and the other things you said on the MR, are factory-options that can be specified , including BBS rims.

The thing is an MR is an MR upto 2005, but since 2006, there will be no MR, only three models in Japan: RS, GT, GSR.

When MR was released in japan for the VIII, it was also then released in the US. But The IX MR is already in the US but its not available in Japan. I guess Mitsu wanted to take advantage of the added publicity the MR got in US and keep up the name.

LMAO at Nm..... I know, reminds me of horrible memories as well...
