boost gauge t-connector question

I needed the t-connector that splits the pressure from the fuel pump for my defi boost gauge.

I went to a auto parts store to look for a t-connector that's 4mm x 4mm x 4mm as according to the defi webpage. They didn't have that exact size, so I just went and bought one that's 4.7x4.7x4.7. My question is would this be ok or will it affect the pressure reading because it's too big? I assume it would be ok but I just wanted to check with you guys before I go ahead with the install. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I think you tapped the wrong spot, you should tap into the smaller hose to the RIGHT of the dipstick for the most accurate reading, As for the size of your T-fitting, you should be fine as long as it is air tight...

As long as the connection is snug, you'll be ok. Use zip ties as well.

I used that line the first time around and it didn't work correctly. Now, just like the picture above shows, i'm connected to the FPR (fuel preasure regulator) and it workes perfectly with out problems.

Oh that's not a picture of my install, I haven't touched anything yet. I took it from a tutorial I just used it to show the t-connector for anyone that might not know what i'm talking about. Thanks for the reply .

I tapped into the BOV vacuum hose. That spot will be fine also but if somthing happens to that vacuum hose on the inside like a hole then you will have problems. Put some zip ties on the hose connections at the t-fitting.
