Got some more parts in today from a local shop. I decided that I will be moving the boost gauge up to the a-pillar along with the EGT gauge. Both will go into a dual pod. I will be mounting the XD-1 into the pod on the steering wheel where I moved the boost gauge from. The HKS EVC display and control box will be going into the carbon din panel.
I'll put pics up as soon as I can get it all mounted.

A good friend of mine mounted these in the carbon din panel. This is no easy task as it took him 2.5 hours to do it right. They look great. Now I just have to get them in the car. The harness for the HKS is already wired up, but I need to wire in my Innovate WB before I put these in. I will get some pics installed once I get the dash back together.

Tonight I was suppose to have the motor together at least, but I ran into another road block as the rod bolts I received today are not the correct ones for the Evo. The packaging had the correct part number but they look different from the ones listed in the ARP catalog. I'm just getting sick of the car being down. In the 3 years that I have owned it, it has been down a total of 8 months all together on seperate occassions. At least I got the din panel done. I'll be damned if I didn't get something done tonight, haha.

in your original thread about blowing your engine, you never specified exactly why detonation started happening. malfunctioning fuel injector? clogged oil squirters? inquiring minds want to know.

Once I get a chance to I still plan to send the stock injectors off to get them checked out. Right now the money is going into getting it back up. I will be sure to post up once I figure it out. The oil squirters were ok.

More progress on the interior. All I have left to do on the inside is to wire up the LC-1 wideband controller and the sound system. In the last pic you can see the input and output cables for the XD-1 wideband gauge. I decided to mount it onto the steering wheel to make those two cables easy to access. All I would need to do to datalog from the wideband is to connect the serial output cable to the output of the gauge and I'm in business.

oh geemany looked at the other pic... it was just the angle...

but seirously... can you measure that thing? it looks larger than the other o2s even tho i swear they're all the same...

I'll measure the housing as soon as I get the turbo back.
