I spoke to a rep from ARP today about the bolts and he ensured me that they are the correct ones. Once I get those installed I can start putting the motor together.
I've "heard" that the rod bolts are a carry over from the DSMs, and are actually a mm too big. People make them fit, but I'd worry about needing to get the rods resized if I were going to use that much force to install them... I may be wrong...

I decided to pull the stock pistons out and go with a set of drop in Wiseco Pistons and Eagle Rods from TurboTrix. The stockers will be up for sale soon. I also finished up the install of the sub in the trunk. I think it came out pretty decent.

Here are some pics of the pistons and rods along with the 1G bearings. The eagle rods call for the early rod bearings (89-92 4G63B). The part number is MD129423.
I also mounted the LC-1 underneath the car to the frame rail. The same guy that made the din carbon panel for me is going to make an aluminum encloser around the LC-1.
I also discovered a bad main bearing, so I'm going to be ordering a set of the same ones from mitsu. There was an air pocket on the bearing surface.
Since I have to pull the motor apart again to replace the main bearings I will more than likely install the balance shaft eliminator kit. I'm still debating on if I want to or not.

I'm also debating on whether or not to convert to speed density and go with a piping kit from TT. If I stick with the MAF I will be running the Injen Intake System. If I don't run the Injen it will be up for sale.

I know it's been a while, but the car is up and running strong. I'm having a couple of minor issues with building up crankcase pressure, but I'm sure a catch can will cure that. Anyway I'll get to posting the pics, haha.
New mitsu main bearings, ARP main studs, Wiseco pistons, ARP head studs, new mitus head gasket.
