Ridlin makes you hyper FYI.

I don't think you'll break any hearts by buying an STI, but most car boards are exactly like we are. Some people answer questions, some people answer questions and then ask you to search before you ask, and then some people just tell you to search.

I think the ones that give you a little info and tell you to search are the best, because honestly, a lot of the time when you search now you find nothing but threads filled with people telling others to search and no real information.

i didnt let these douches stop me from getting a evo

J/K u guys arnt douches
they are good guys, really tho use the search feature, and dont sulk about it and say ur going to get a sti, thats not going to hurt our feelings, maybe u wanna do some research on power gains on mods also, ull see a Evo will hit higher hp with less money spent on mods.

just get a GSR. why are you looking at an RS?? what are your plans with the car?? is it going to be a street beast or a track terror?? or just a average everyday 4door saloon that can whip a Porsche 996?? having a basic plan will tell you alot of which car to buy.

i live in so cal and i just want somthing that won't stand out and get stolen, my dad drives a red evo8, but it's a but to bright. i guess it dosen't have to be an RS. i just want to use it as a daily driver, probably intake, reflash, exhaust, just the common stuff. i just really want an evo.

I'm in the same boat, I really want a IX RS myself. The waiting is absolutely killing me. But I have a plan and I need to stick to it. Don't get discourage though, especially when you meet the true enemy, the Mitsubishi salesman. Man I've bought 3 Mitsubishis from Mitsubishi dealerships and have had bad experiences each time, but in the end it's worth it.

I went to go check out the RS this weekend, and man this is the first time I really examined it. I've ridin' and test drove EVOs before, but never took the time to really examine it to full detail like I did this weekend, and it really isn't that bad. It does have AC, so don't worry about that. The back seat is much more spaceful then I first thought. Also I like the spoiler on the EVO and wondered if I'd like the RS without the spoiler, and honestly it looked really good even with out the spoiler.

I have an RS with the following...

Air Conditioning (they all do)
Stereo (flip-up DVD touch screen)
6 speakers + sub
Sound detoning (dynomat)
Factory power windows
Factory power locks
Alarm with keyless entry
Factory visors with vanity mirrors
Factory center counsol with armrest
VII spoiler

After buying the car I have added the "GSR" parts I wanted. The only way to get front LSD at the time was to get an RS. I now have everything I wanted without any of the extras...and it's done the way I wanted it.

Wow, so you still haven't even looked at the link I gave you straight from Mitsubishi that gives every detail about what the RS does and does not have? First, you didn't search, then you didn't bother to read the information that was spoonfed to you. That's not a good way to make friends...
