Has anyone ever bought this DP?

Hello,
I bought a downpipe from a company here in Michigan for my 2003 evo VIII. Unfortunately it doesn't fit real well. It touches my oilpan and vibrates, and rubs on the cusco suspenion bar I have. So I have been looking for a new DP since. I found this one on e-bay, but it seems to be alot like the one I have right now. It looks just like it. Has anyone bought the DP from this e-bay seller? Does it fit ok?

here is teh link to e-bay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...3AAAQ%3AUS%3A1

Thanks,
Tim

to be on the safe side buy a dp that is made from a well known company. Im sure you probably know already but incase you didnt thats a replica HKS dp. you already bought one that didnt fit...dont make the same mistake twice....spend the extra money

that is a knock off HKS DP, the listing states "HKS Style DP", Personally I would stay away from these thing and buy the real deal that has been tested and made properly to fit and function. I understand people not wanting to pay a lot of money on body kits and such but you really should spend the money to make sure your car is getting the best performance. Why buy a car for $30K and then skimp out on a engine mods. just my 2cents.

I have that exact downpipe and i got it from another vender on ebay who was a little cheaper. it fit perfect there were no issues with it at all. It even cleared the OEM underbraces after i wrapped it with heat wrap. The performance is definatly there, Spool up is faster and it has a little more top end. I agree with you get what you pay for, as far as a DP as long as it fits and clears everything what could be the difference in a 3" piece of SS?

Bends? Not being a full 3" piece (Meaning starts to go to 2.5-2.75" at the flanges.), Bad welding, Cheaply made and cracks easly?
But i have no experience or even heard of this DP so i cannot say it is bad at all. Just saying there could be many problems with some DP's if made incorrect.
