this could be it!

hi

I just wanted to get your opinion on this.

I have deceidet to get an Evo. I wanted to buy a 04 or 05 but this one just looks so nice.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Low-M...QQcmdZViewItem

so, what do you think? it looks pretty stock to me performance wise... am i completely wrong?

also, it has those strutbars. i know the evo has those 3 settings: gravel, snow and tarmac. doesn´t this mix it up? and would it be wise to take them off?

It looks awesome! I would just worry if it was rode hard and put up wet, if you know what I mean. I would be cautious.

This is a 03 which means it does not come with the active center diff ( that lets you choose between gravel, snow, and tarmac). It also does not come with a front LSD.

as for performance parts...

It has the cusco rear strut brace (front one is factory)
coilover suspension with ajustable camber plates
sway bar
exhaust w/ test pipe (I did not see a cat)
turbo timmer
boost guage
and the wheels.

Looks nice and has great miles for an 03

but what really worries me is look at the color of the brembos (they only turn that color of dark red when heavily used!!

wonder what the laptop outlet is for? It only has 16,300 miles, but I wonder how hard and how well tuned those miles were? Just questions I'd ask.

+1

This Evo was driven hard, and since you're buying out of state on ebay (i.e. you can't just go there to check it out), you may want to be careful. I bought mine on ebay, but it was in California, so it was not as difficult to do a visual inspection before the purchase.

it states that it has a turbo timer but all the pic's are of a boost controller not a turbo timer.

I just noticed you're in Iceland?????? There are no inspections in Texas for decibels coming off the exhaust. I'm in Houston, but I've never heard of the dealer selling the car. My time is valuable (to me at least), but if you're serious about this car, I might be able to look it over for you. I don't want to make any promises, it depends on where it's located (Houston is bigger than some states, I swear it seems that way in traffic), and it'll have to fit a schedule somewhat. PM me if you're serious. Again, no promises, but I'll see what I can do ONLY if your serious.
