ecu+ vs aem ems
There's going to be no comparison of AEM vs ECU+. The AEM will win hands down over ECU+ in just about any area, BUT....there are major price differences and major major system differences.
The ECU+ is a piggy back, the AEM is a standalone.
Comparing apples to oranges IMO.

About the topic, I was checking out the ECU+ and liked its features. The only feature that it doesn't have yet is boost control, but everyone on the ECU+ said that Tom (I believe thats his name, ECU+ creator) is making new features all the time and boost control should be available soon. I might change to the ECU+ then.
And like 4TUN8 said, its a piggyback and shouldn't be compared to a stand-alone.
ECU+ will benefit street cars a lot more than AEM from a practicality standpoint because it retains OBD-II functionality. AEM eliminates the OBD-II port. If you live in a state that checks codes for inspection, you are screwed with AEM. You can always switch back to your stock ECU, though!

Bro you are comparing a stand alone vs a piggy back. You cannot compare really. AEM is a complete replacement for your ECU and is just as good as it is tuned. It will make you more power if you find the right tuner. ECU+... you can tune your car and not have to worry about tuning for drivability but also retain the MAF. There are many pro's and con's you just have to search
