How many people use Gravel Mode (ACD) in Rain?

Next time I drive in the rain I will try to switch to gravel mode. The only time I switched my ACD was in the snow and I personally liked the tarmac mode better in the snow with snow tires. I got stuck driving in snow one time with my advans and the snow mode was better.

I switch mine to gravel in the rain but don't notice any difference. I drive it pretty easy though. Also, my wife looks like a rag doll in the passenger seat during normal driving. She would really bounce around if I drove it hard.

I use it. It helps. I don't pretend to be qualifying for any events on wet public streets, but if I were trying win an event... or needed to make an emergency maneuver I wouldn't want to be with the ACD.

Sounds like this ACD thing is like the intercooler sprayer was. Everyone who does not have it is like "Oh I want one, I'd use it all the time". The people who have it are like "I have it, makes no difference in the real world".
Maybe someone who auto-xed or tracked the car noticed a difference? I'm interested in the feel while taking the corners, I couldn't care less about the 1/4 mile time differences - Sorry drag people.
I think I'd prefer that fog light button instead of the ACD button myself.

Thats weird that i can totally feel it on the highway in a storm, especially at speed. The instant I press the button i can feel it through the steering wheel, kind of feels like i'm driving around on pizza cutters, on tarmac mode. Try it out, I might be trippin, But, the steering wheel seems to tighten up

i am very obsessive when it comes to see how things work. on my way home from work, i have about a 300 degree turn that i need to make, and of course i love to slide around it. i have tried in all three modes, and my method is as follows: i enter the turn at about 20mph, **** the wheel all the way, and floor it. in tarmac mode, the *** end of the car slides out and i need to countersteer to keep it from spinning out. in gravel and snow mode the car doesnt lose its poise, but accelerates nicely through the huge turn. in the rain or snow the difference is even more notable. while in tarmac i sometimes can feel the wheels spinning and getting traction, whereas the other two settings get me through the turn smoothly (well, as smooth as is possible in snow)
