Is there honestly anything faster out there???
Heyy...Im in the market for a used import to mod. Right now, after all my research, it seems that the EVO may be the one. Is there any tuner car honestly faster out there that can be bought for under $30,000 - new or used? Just curious on some inputs on this subject. Thought about STi and older NSX too (<--- primarily for looks, not as fast)...Thanks!

Lots of things can be faster with enough money in mods, and you can still be well under 30k with the cost of the car and the mods... Stock for stock and an import, not really other than the STI which was faster until the MY05 hit, used Supra comes close as well.

It depends on your priorities.
Don't discount the NSX. They are really well built and handle wonderfully. They will also not depreciate.
If your only interest in straight line then consider a Supra turbo or, do I dread to say it, a Mustang.
I personally consider the Evo one of the best packages but I really happen to enjoy having 4 doors as well as something that really kicks *** at the track

I dont see a supra being faster really, cause to get a moded one that is faster gonna be more then 30k, and good luck finding a low mileage one.. I love supras, my fav car, but damn the miles are so high on them.
Depends what you want though, im sure there are moded high mileage supras for 30 or lil under. Or if you want only straight line stuff, get a 03-04 cobra. But id personally get the evo, if i could do it all over again. (Unless i found a killer deal on a supra
.)

Bad question to ask on an Evo board, everyone for the most part will answer for their car.
I think for 30k there are a lot of fast imports out there if you're looking used.
Evo
Supra
STI
SRT-4
300zx TT
240sx (ka motor can be built and boosted into a beast.....or be like everyone else and do an SR-20 swap)
There are some others, do something different IMO.
