California Evos

Hey guys, its a stupid question, i was thinkn about buying an evo from south coast mitsubishi but i heard something about californian evos. i heard to meet the strict emissions of california they are detuned? please inform me that this is untrue

Not true, if they make less power than eastcoast EVOs, it is because of the **** *** gas.

where did you hear that? all evos are the same within the US..
only US evo is different with anywhere else in the world...

Santa Monica mitsu gave me the best deal on my IX back in october. 30K after taxes and all other fees.

I think it's the other way around. All the US cars are shipped to meet California emissions.

If you go there read every word of your sales contract very carefully (they tried to sneak in a few things on mine) and dont sign the arbitration waiver.

What exactly does CA require for emissions that other states don't require? Would the Evo have more power if it didn't have to meet the CA emissions standards?
