Test drove that 03 I was talking about
I posted back a few weeks ago about an 03 that was 4sale. Well I went and drove it today, and I have to say what a peice of s***.
I drove the car for about 20 mins, and I noticed that at about 3000 rpm, it felt like the car was surging at WOT. The only mods to the car was a short ram intake and some samco intake hoses. When I got back from the test drive I opened the hood and it smelled like CLUTCH
I couldn't beleive it. The car had 13,500 miles on it. The insides of the rear tires were worn out, it pulled the right, and it shook really bad at 60 mph. I told the guy I wasn't sure about it. He said I will give you $26,500 for the R32 and sell you the Evo for $24,500.
I might have given him 20k.
Just thought I would share with you...

I am not an Evo owner but from what I´ve read this sounds like a car who has gotten it´s taste of the tracks
I for one, won´t be so lucky to be able to take my future evo for a spin

Evo has an aggressive negative camber stock. Did you align your evo?
Just an FYI....the evo will surge if you lift the throttle at low rpms with a little bit of boost. The only reason you heard it was because of the intake.
Also, it might have pulled to the right if the road had grooves of any sort....the tires make it do that....as for it wearon the tires.......yeah that's bad.

He does have a point. On an evo you notice every slight bump and ripple in the ground.
How long did you drive it and what was the outside temp. I Know in the morning my Advans feel like they are square until they warm up a little and I'm talking about above 50 degree weather. My IX reminds me of my lifted Toyota on mud terrains in the morning. Once the tires warm up its better but its still a ultra stiff suspension and you can feel every little bump.
