Have you read the forums lately? Mod for mod the IX is making significantly more power.

Yes, I see. I also don't see any standalone or cam development. Until it has those it is pure yawn.

What are you talking about!!??The 06's are every bit as reliable as the 05's.

But then you are assuming that he wants to mod it. Not everybody wants to mod a brand new car.

You dont need an intake cam due to mivec and people are already running then 272 exhaust cam. Why would you need a stand alone for a bolt on EVO when they have a flash for that?

You are not comprehending what I am saying. I am in NO way talking about reliability. I am saying that the Evo 9 is unproven in a power/tunability standpoint until someone releases a standalone ECU and cams.

Again, read: this has nothing to do with reliability.

The 272 cam debate is still up in the air, last I checked. Not everyone believes in a flash solution, I would never put one in my car. Sorry, I don't believe in someone tuning off a base map. Standalones are the ONLY solution for the track. It is still beyond me why anyone would run something they can't program and control.

Okay....well this is way offtopic now.

Low ball the dealer or get an 06.
