Becareful out there, especially young people
these cars have way too much power....inexperience drivers beware..i'm 19 myself but i've been driving since i was 13 and am super careful. i've had a few cars and the evo really is the scariest to drive...it requires the drivers full attention on the road.... Condolences to the family

O man thats terrible, i just cant stand seeing young kids throwing there lifes away for a cheap thrill. Im 18 and I think my father has taught me well enough to be safe and I always am. R.I.P.
Thats really scary. That is like 30 miles from where I live. I actually work in Charlotte. I have never met those guys but I've seen a yellow Evo around. That was probably it. I feel for their families. Everyone be careful it's been a bad few days.

damn...our premium is gonna go up now....it's sad and stupid at the same time....people should find the limits of their car on the track and not on the street......may they rest in peace....

I know some of the younger guys say they get a bad rap, but here are the ages of the people that died: 21 (driver), 20 (passanger), 19 (driver), 18 (passenger). Drive safely and at least take a driver education course.
Recent Deaths in Evo's
I agree with one of the other posts about taking high speed runs to any of the road course driver education events available across the country. Running at the limit on back roads at night to enjoy the thrill of fast cars is gonna cost lives. My rule of thumb is to run 10 mph over the speed limit on the street and never faster. Keep the lurid four wheel slides at 90 mph at the track 8 times a year.
