No, don't be a burden for yourself in the future. Keep it stock, and enjoy life instead of it becoming a burden.

I would keep your current evo. Just pay your bills. You can always mod it later.

yeah pay your bills. or you could get hooked on meth, stop paying rent, and wait for the sheriff to physically remove you from the property. that seems to be a popular behavior lately.

You already know the best answer. You ask cause you dont wanna let go of your car. You love it too much. Well I can tell you that before the viii, there were i, ii, iii, iv, etc and after will ve the x and more.

Plan your life out. Save for your dream. There are many more important things in life.

I would keep the evo and leave it stock. The reason that I am saying this is so you can keep the warrenty on it. With the warrenty you can drive the car how you please and then if something goes wrong you do not have to pay for it. I would not mod the car if I had to pick up a second job just to do it because there would be no fun in that. You would have to work all of the time and then you wouldn't have time to play with the evo after you modified it. That is just my .02$ though and you can do as you please. Good luck.

My evo was stock for a year too. I just started to mod slowly last year. You shouldn't prioritize modding your car, otherwise you will end up in debt.

sell your car, buy a beater, invest your money... then down the line, when you can buy the evo cash, buy it.

^^^ this one and burningmoney answer hit it on the nail.

I can't believe the replies im reading in this post. Seems like the first 5 or so have nothing to live for but there car.

To the thread starter, be smart... if you can't afford to mod, keep it stock, nothing wrong with stock. If you want to mod, but can't afford it with the payments, sale it now... get a better job or a second job, and buy the evoIX, it's worth it.

keep it stock, once it's paid off, assuming you have nothing better to put your money towards (like a house), use what used to be your car payment as mod money
