First thing anybody should do when buying a car is install a good alarm. It sucks to see an Evo violated that bad.

I know how bad this sucks. I had alot of stereo stuff and misc. stuff stolen out of one of my cars a couple years ago. People have no respect for other people's property. If I would have caught the people that night its hard to say what I would have done to them. But after I got that sweet insurance check I had a field day buyin new goodies!

BTW....Insurance companies do not replace radar detectors because they say it could have been being used to break the law by speeding etc.... Not sure if you had one or not. Just FYI

yea the motor is out. thats why the alarm wasnt on. no battery. i pulled the car out of the garage so i would have room to do somethings. the neighborhood is normally a safe place so i didnt worry about it.

 

damn sorry about your car man............had it happen to me once but my car was all stock so they didnt steal anything just smashed my window. Good luck hope you get your stuff back.

 

They dont raplace radar detectors because they are not permanetly attached to the car.

That sucks. Worrying about thieves is the main reason I haven't touched the audio system in my evo yet.

 

Don't take this the wrong way, but since the motor was out and someone obviously spent a fair amount of time, pulling out everything, do you think it was somebody that knew you?

Typically, when somebody goes through the effort of doing all this, they knew they something about the car.

Specifically, if you told some friends about the motor being out and they told some friends about the car......

I'm really sorry to see this happen to anyone, but at least you get the $$$ back.

 

After looking at these pics, i just got madder!! I missed the fact that they took my SAFC II. i could chew threw a brick wall!!!

 

In the one picture you can see the greddy type s bov in the floor. Guess they didnt want that.

 

FCK* You had that ALPINE Flip Screen!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats the one with the SUPER CLEAR SCREEN right?! damn! Well if insurance covers most of the damage then that will be great!

 

That sucks chances are its someone in your complex they have more than likely seen the stuff in your car before and probably know u dont have an alarm. ID seriously move or get a garage
