Searching will definitely provide you with some options. However, you are asking which cams are best to get. I don't think there is a definite answer. What one think is best does not mean others will. It will be based on your personal preference. You might want to sacrafice some comfort for performance while others might not. Therefore, I think asking what the the "best" ____ to get is a useless question.

That was the first time I just said search without finding someone the answer and also telling them to search.

I suggest you search for posts made by me to see proof.

The cam question has been answered a billion times, and it finally wore me down.

1) There is no answer to the question of "best cams to get." After all the admonishing for you to search, you still say you haven't found anything, which tells me you haven't really tried. There's tons of information on different cam setups plus you already said you're getting 272s, so I don't even understand the question.

2) You're making a big mistake buying and relying upon an S-AFC.

3) You won't make much power at all relying on the S-AFC and tuning yourself. If you pay someone else to tune your crude S-AFC, then that's an even bigger mistake than #2.

4) Track times are dependent upon so many factors (hp, tq, weather, elevation, track prep, traction, launching ability, shifting ability, weight) that there's no way anyone can answer that. You are just being extremely lazy and wanting everything handed to you on a silver platter. With your mods after cams, I could run high 11s. I predict you will run high 12s at best...

Whoa! Take it easy newbie! Warrtalon is under the influence of the Dynoflash kool-aid.

As far as your original question, I would recommend running a set of 272's. Use the HKS or Buddyclub cams.

Here is the receipe I used to make 348 AWHP and 348 AWTQ:

05 EVO
Stock Airbox
MR BOV
MBC 22 psi
Walbro Fuel Pump
Buddy Club 272's
Denso 720cc Injectors
3 Inch Turboback with no Cat
SAFC-II

Everything else is stock. This equates to approx 400 HP and 400 TQ at the crank.

yea i was just gonna say, if you do get cams, intake, exhaust,EBC, definetly plan on aftermarket fuel pump and injectors. but to the people who have more knowledge is the fuel pump and injectors that necessary? or can cams be run with stock pump and injectors
