Anyone miss the driving/foglights of the 4,5,6? and would like to see them back ,instead of integrated into the headlamp assembly?
afterall, the cars heritage is rally.

I absolutely love that look on older Evos, but in general it's kind of been ruined for me, unless it's an actual old car built like that... here's what I mean:

 

I guess imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

 

Unless it was done perfectly to match the old style evos, I dont think the fog lights would look too great. If you could get basically the same bumper as the 5 then it would look nice.

 

This is absolutely true, but then the originator has to move on....

 

I honestly don't miss the huge lights on the bumper. Its completely unproportional to the rest of the car. Plus its not good for aerodynamics.

Besides, if you remember the 2001 Lancer Evo VII WRC, it had add on light pods for night rallies. Even the lights on the VI are "poser" to a degree since in a race the lighting would be in pods on the bumper, not the bumper itself...

 

id rather have projector fog lights in my headlamps, than on the bumper like subaru. its just to small and looks weird. on that note jdm fogs for the impreza look pretty damn good.

 

I wouldnt mind projector foglamps, like the new cayman or 997 turbo has.

 

Maybe so, but I still love how my car looks!

 

I think I like the VIII bumper best.

 

yea i really did wish that when i bought the car that it had the big fogs on it.
