EVO IX Mod List - let me know what you think!

I am finally getting around to putting some performance bits to my EVO IX (JDM). The car is a daily driver and my goal goal is to get as much power as possible without effecting reliability and making it too loud (wife factor). Below is the list of mods:

Ecutek Remap
E-Bay O2 Housing
HKS Downpipe
Test Pipe
HKS Silent Hi-Power
Walboro Fuel Pump

Let me know what you think of it and let me know if I should add (substract) any more parts. Also, if anyone here has put on the Silent Hi-Power with turbo elbow & cat-delete, I would like to how loud that combo is...

turbo back and flash is all you really need for near 300 whp on 91 on a mustang dyno.

Why is everyone saying that I need a MBC? I thought that the Ecutek remap would take care of the boost control issue. I would appreciate it if someone can explain the advantages of a MBC when (as far as I know) the boost can be controlled by the ECU.

4 Wheel Slide:

I will get a dyno tune and than we will check it on the road as well. The shop recommended the fuel pump and it does not cost that much, so I will let them put it in even if it is unnecessary... I guess it should not have a detrimental effect. BTW, what do you mean by ‘adaptor’?

AlohaEvo:

I actually thought about purchasing the lower IC pipe and might buy one if I can afford it. Also, I will ask the shop if the boost gauge is a ‘must’ for safety

Fiamotorsports:
Thanks for the feedback, I might slap the HKS Silent Catback on first to see if it gets any louder than stock. I will also go for a ride in a car with manifold, test pipe and HKS exhaust (not the silent one) and HKS RS intake tomorrow. That should give me a feel on what the maximum noise level J

Ecutek does control boost... you don't need an MBC

Same power can be had axing the 02 housing, no need for fuel pump either up until 400hp on the IX as the new fuel pump is higher flowing vs. VIII's.

don't like intakes

so I would probably prefer to get a lower IC pipe before one of those bit less HP for the same money, but no maintenance, increased noise and lowered reliability
