I have an evo IX and my mod path will be very similar to your set-up: Ecutek Reflash, TBE w/ HFC and drop-in filter. A very reliable 50whp gain from relatively simple mods. As far as MBC and LICP are concerned, I still debating whether I should get them or not. Anyways, Good luck with your car and modding

Does anyone know which LICP fits on IX's w/o fitment issues??

there is a thread talking about this very thing, active, right now...

the adapter to put a filter on... the mbc helps you hold boost so it doesnt taper as much people have run 360whp with the stock fuel pump....

cheers

You don't need a fuel pump unless you are pushing 400whp. That's even more true with the IX's. If someone is telling you this, it's because they don't know how to tune. I know a lot of the dynoflash users are told to put in fuel pumps and it's wrong. Unless it's being used to flood in fuel to cover up a bad tune... Not trying to flame, just seen it happen a lot.

Now if you put in cams and/or turbo - you'll definitely need a new fuel pump. Of course, you'll need injectors too and a host of other internals. Evo's are bad like that with lotsa internals.

I second the HF cat and not the testpipe.
