Good news and bad news....

Good news: my VIN - JA3AH86F83U1013?? (finally)

Bad news: ETA moved from 4/19 to 4/27

The dealer said that they had two EVOs "drop by" on a car hauler today... they only got two Outlanders off of the truck... wish I would have known... I would have hijacked that mother...

Just steal the Evo, cut to the chase and give the cops something interesting to do.

Is this the dealership's first allotment or their second shipment? Seems they're way behind a lot of east coast dealerships. Is there a particular order the Evos were distributed? (as in highest demand/most sales to lowest demand/lowest sales)

I know that the dealership nearest me still has none out, but said they just came off the truck today and are getting prepped. I've visited a few times to see them and they haven't been there. One of these days, I'll see an Evo...

Speculation:
Q: What info would be necessary before an unscrupulous Mitsu tech could cut/order a replacement for a "lost" EVO key?
A: VIN

Hmmm... theres going to be like 6 Evos in Parkersburg WV... EVER... Whats to stop them from finding it in a parking lot, say, where I work, and getting it there. They could cut the keys and come back the next day and take it.

Plus... I have good insurance.

On second thought... they can make 100 keys... good luck..

Hmmm... is it really that easy for a Tech to do that??? Wouldn't you have to order a key?
