Im a little confused. I was looking at a Base GSR for my g/f online through a dealer and the car looked as if it had HID's. But it doesn not have the SSL package. Do XI's come standard with HID's? If so whats the diff between the standard hid's and the SSL car's hids? I attempted a search but found nothing. Am i simply not seeing what i think im seeing in this photo?

 

Base does not come with HIDS.

 

Just a reflection, You have to buy the SSL package to get the HID's or just get an MR, standard on it

Point taken. Would it be possible to have the HID's installed without the leather etc? The only thing the car has GOT to have are HID's

 

I talked to my dealer before I bought an MR, you can order it through the dealer and have them install it. That'll probably cost a pretty penny though.

 

those look like HIDS to me but doesnt seam to have fogs..... isnt HID blue light?

 

Guys, i'd wager that's the camera flash reflecting off the oval off the projector, kinda the way the HID's look purple/blueish at an angle and white head on.

 

The Lights are on...maybe the halogens bulbs are colored blue. But anywayz, I bought my IX GSR with SSL. They said I cannot get the HIDS with foglights by itself. I had to get the Whole SSL Package. I didnt want the Sound or leather...If you buy a GSR without SSL and buy the HIDs, it will probably be another 1 or 2k for a new set of headlights through Mitsu...

 

thats just normal bulbs...HA...with the projector style lens...like they got on them ricer headlights off ebay...LMAO

 

just buy aftermarket hids.. my friends aftermarket units look nicer than my stock ones.

 

I can't tell you if base XI come with HIDs because it doesn't exist yet.

 

When did they come out with the Evo 11? Did I miss something?
