I have one of the first Evo in the country. I drive about 40 miles to work daily and about to double that distance now we got a new house.
The Evo is the main reason I wake up in the morning wanting to go to work :}

EVERYDAY except for the winter. The northeast can take a toll on a car. Other then that from april to novemember everyday 117 miles to work and back

Indeed.

WRX was my daily driver for years and now the EVO has replaced her. I do have a problem with the EVO as daily though. The Cruise control is a real problem. My foot seems to get heavier and heavier

Gonna get a Valentine 1 to take care of that problem.

When I mod mine, DRIVABILITY is always my number 1 concern.
Mine drives so well that I got an offer to buy it for almost as much as the price of a new Evo.

i complain about how high my rent is, but i think my 4 mile commute makes up for it in both time and money.
