As the question says... please respond and what kind of driving do you do? IMO its not the greatest daily driver, the ride is loud and rough... Just wondering what do you guys think?

The EVO is my daily driver. My weekend car is much louder and rough.

My Evo is my daily driver. I dont bother buying a beater to drive during the week because I know it would just be sitting since I would still always end up driving the Evo. Also I'd hate to be making payments on the car for it just to be sitting.

IMO a little loudness and roughness are less than a small price to pay for daily excitement. In fact, I can't stand driving cars that are insulated from the road - I have this need to get constant feedback on the road, conditions and how I'm driving. For travelling longer distances now, we take the Prius, but that's more to save gas and use the GPS than anything else.

When it's crappy out I drive my 96 Impreza wagon with the killer snow tires. I won't drive the Evo if there's snow/slush on the ground or if it's raining. In CT, that averages out to driving the Evo about 75% of the time.

pretty much everyday....i'm too cheap to pay for snow tires and the hassle of getting them switched off. if it's heavy snow on the roads then i'll steal my brother's jeep but 99.9% of the time, i drive the evo.

to be honest, driving to work is the best part of my day. i hate my job, i hate getting up ridiculously early, my commute blows...but you know what? Sitting in my street-legal race car makes me forget all of that. except when there's bumper-to-bumper traffic....then i want to chop off my left leg.
