Anybody try the greddy informeter?

http://www.lancershop.com/customer/p...0&cat=0&page=1

I was thinking of getting one of these instead of the three gauge pillar pod I used to have because it was stolen once and I dont want it to happen again. Does anyone know which parameters this unit will show for the evo?

Its a cool little unit. In my Evo it reads: speed(mph), tach(rpm), water temp(f), ignition(degrees), intake temp(f), A/F-C(%), injector(%), ARFL(%), O-2 sensor(volts), throttle(%), battery(volts). It has yellow & red warning limits that you can set for: speed, tach, water temp, battery, & injector. For instance my tach warning limit is set at 6500 rpm for yellow & 7000 rpm for red. When you hit 6500 the Greddy unit highlites the tach in flashing yellow & sounds a mild tone, at 7000 it flashes in red & has a more serious tone. It also reads SES light codes & can reset codes. It comes with about 8 different colored face plates. All in all I like it. I got mine for $275.00 shipped from intensepower.com

you should go with the guages, the greddy unit just shows what apocketlogger will show and datalog for half the price. your boost won't show in psi, it will tell you your MAF reading, no oil pressure. it does show timing, rpm, narrowband 02, and coolant temp, but really what good are they without datalogging capabilities?

Does the injector % show up for the Evo? Does it read injectory duty cylcle % or in (ms) milliseconds? What are the units for MAF flow?

Do you have any pictures of it mounted in your car?

Thanks
Brian

It does read SES lights, well it says it does. It has a setting for it. I didnt have any codes for it to read, when I tried mine. I have a used one for sale, if anyone wants one. Here is the thread: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ght=informeter It worked great, used it to check duty cycle on the fuel injectors. I already have a pocketlogger, so I decided to the informeter it, because I need some cash now. It worked very well on my car though.
