Voted. I had a mitsu dealer buddy pull it, and it's had 4 oil changes and no other warranty work. I have been looking for one for 5 months now at auctions - thrilled to finally find a cherry low-mileage 2004.5-2005.

Nice. What a long shot. I have a house in that town. If you're coming to pick it up I'll let you know some places to check out while you are in town.

Everytime I see one of these..."Finally got my Evo" threads it makes me want one more and more. Congrats and have fun with it.

I was watching that auction too ...I'm looking for a used one myself....but it's only been 2 weeks or so ....I haven't seen anything to local yet.

Glad to hear that from another owner. I thought it was quite a good price - just wanted to make sure I wasn't overly enthusiastic about finding a perfect black one.

Car shipping service. $650 door to door. I forget the name, but I looked it up and it was pretty reputable.

Edit: question - what's the difference between a JDM taillight and an OEM one? I can't tell much difference in the pics from others I've found here.

You'll probably laugh at this noobish response, but sure - it has evo 7 tails and they are desirable eh?

I'm just stoked to finally get one of these damn things - lol. I've looked at probably 20 or 30 of em - each which had either been beaten on (clutch and tranny replaced on one) or poorly modified (downpipe so damn big they cut the underbody to fit it) or just too plain. I really wanted a dark - blue preferred - so even though it wasn't an SSL, I'm still happy. It came with a wiring harness for the stereo - so I'll do something with that.

Thanks for all the good words - I'm just looking forward to delivery.

JDM is what the japan spec models get, OEM is usually original equipment, which in the USA would be the USDM spec stuff.

I personally am not a fan of the evo 7 tails. I like the new MR tails

Thanks for the clarification - I'm not THAT noobish - lol - I own an 03 Acura TL Type-S so there are lots who try to make it look JDM like the Inspire.

I finally found a pic of the USDM tails on an 04 - I guess I do like the JDM ones better so that's a good thing.
