this type of behavior happens all the time from morons in their sh!tboxes. usually what i do is look at them and point and start laughing obnoxiously. that usually pisses them off and they just drive off. im telling you guys to try it. its better then the not pay attention. well at least i think so.

Great post, this happens to me atlease 3 times a week.I work in the side of the town with full of ricers. Reving up their engine to get my attention to look at their autozone muffler and unpainted bodykits. I had a honda before, but not once did I act stupid or try to race something that I know will beat me. Damn F&F and now RJ de Verra even have a new mtv show called "TRICKED OUT" which gives another excuse for ricers to fix up their pos cars......

Dont feel bad, its more annoying than nething...

I had an incident happen to me right before I put the evo up for the winter.. @ a Tim Hortons, I was on a first date w/this chick and was just going to get some coffee through the drive through. When I went to pick her up she looked at my car and the way I acted and said that I was cocky...which I am not, its just what she thought , anyway she started joking about my car and how it was all "tricked out", I was like its actually kind of quick (305whp-12.6 @ 108mph)...anyway so we are on our way to tim hortons and a 3000gt nonturbo tries to race me, and a probe... Neway I disposed of them (kinda showing off ). Then when we get to tim hortons, I pull around to the window and 4 employees are hanging out the window, all amazed it was an evo... @ that point I just smiled and looked over @ my date... Her face was priceless...

One thing happened to me and my evo. During Orange County Fire, about 2 weeks ago, my house was evactuated. No one was allowed to go back in the residental area. I pulled up to the cop at the check point and showed him my ID with address. He didn't even check my ID but asked me "How do you like the car? is it fast?" I was like "The car is very nice and I am not going to say if it is fast or not".

He let me went into my street and told me to try to slow down.

Funny story, I get crap like that all the time.

One time while stopped and waiting out a LOOONNGG red light, a red stock wrx comes flying up next to me. He slams his breaks to stop. I look over to see what this idiot next to me is doing, and while turning my head the light turns green. He hits the limiter and launches hard spinning all 4. Little did he know there was a cop on the other side 2 cars back in the center lane. I stayed at the green light without moving and allowed the cop to bust a U-turn and pull him over. The cop had been sitting at the light on the other side for a LONG time, and if the wrx kid would have spent more than 2 seconds next to me before launching I would have warned him. The hard look the kid gave me while I was turning my head to see him made my night. I can only imagine what he said or looked like when he saw the cop .
Gotta love that! I wish that happens more often. Regardless, I wouldn't warn the tool even if I got a chance. It takes consequences for some to learn.

I know this is an EVO site and I drive an STi, but I thought I would add a story since it just happened yesterday. I was at a red light, and some teenager in an old *** turbo diesel mercedes is sitting next to me. He revs his engine, and normally I would have ignore him, but I thought, what the hell. So when the light turns green, I don't bother launching, just baby it into first and then floor it. I left him in the dust like he was standing still. Sometimes it's fun just to embarass people.

No offense but I don't think a Turbo diesel is worth the effort. I don't think you embarassed him either, but way to go.

I dont get revved on much, maybe because I have the oz wing instead of the cf one. .... My wife on the other hand, every single time I let her take the car she comes back with a story of some kid in a riced up _____ tried to race her. She doesnt get to drive the evo to much so the story always ends with her embarrasing someone. I love it, my 29 year old wife drives an evo like it should be driven.

It's funny to hear other people talk about this crap. I see this kind of stuff every day too.

I can just be comfortably cruising down the highway at 65-70 mph and pass some riced out Honda without even noticing. A few seconds later the dude goes whizzing by with some crazy loud exhaust and swerves between 3 lanes of traffic to show his superiority. I never even react because I honestly don't even see them as a threat.

The happens a few times a week. You know who seem to be even worse than pimped out Honda, Supras and Acuras? Pick-up trucks. For some reason people in pick-up trucks seem to take great offense to having me pass them. Even when the only reason for passing them is because I'm going 70 and they are going 68. I'll hear this huge roar next to me as the guy blows his engine out trying to pass me. I just look over and think.... "whatever dude".
