i had a bad BK trip also. I was sitting in the drivethrough line and some kid pulls up next to me in a slammed scion with huge rims. He puts down his window and a says hey man lets race and guns his ****. I had my kid in the back and she asks why he wants to race in the BK parking lot. I started laughing my @$$ off. I tell this guy, ok ready, one two three go!. I then close my window continuing to laugh my *** off. He was trying to yell something but i couldn't hear because i had begun crying i was laughing so hard.

I seem to have the same experiences, but its ALWAYS with Dodge Peon SRT. I dunno what it is, but I've never had a riced out car or anything respectable rev on me. Its always some kid in a Peon with a loud, squawking BOV.

Kids......

I do however, get lots of compliments from grown men. They are really intrugued buy a car that looks performance oriented. They said they've read Road &Track or something and were amazed buy its performance. They also like to listen to those 280's rumble

^They're probably just scared of that powerhouse under the hood. Sometimes...they forget to wear their diapers.

It's funny to hear that this kind of stuff happens all over the country, and to the STi guys, too.

It seems like those who haven't had the opportunity to witness such stupidity are those who are driving the Evo IX's. I'm chalking it up to being a new Evo owner. Give it some time, and don't worry...just put your feet up on the dash and grab some popcorn, because you're in for the most stupefying comedy of your life.

No offense but I don't think a Turbo diesel is worth the effort. I don't think you embarassed him either, but way to go
Some Turbo Duallys will lasy waste to you, be careful.
