What little nit-picky thing would you change about the Evo?

I've owned my Evo since 2003 and it's a world class car, but I miss my Volkswagen every time I have to clean my windshield. The Evo sprayer is like the stream of a water gun. The VW sprayer covers the windshield better than I could if I did it myself with a Windex bottle. The rear windshield sprayer on the Evo is even worse.

I know people have bigger problems (drivetrain, paint quality etc), but what is one little thing you would change if you could?

I hated this from day 1, the cup holders are right by the shifter, doesn't matter if it's a bottle of water or the cups from a fast food place, my arm always touches it when I shift, not a big problem just a bit annoyed.

Aside from the lack of cruise control, I hate the squeaking sound that the leather seats make while rubbing against the center console. Oh, and the sunroof rattles a little bit. Finally, I hate how the antenna scratches the carbon fiber wing when you open the trunk.

The only gripe I have is I would love for the drivers seat to be a few inches lower. But this is something that I will change eventually.

I must agree having logged 15,000+ miles on I-5. A larger gas tank would also be nice.

1. cruise control...definetly a big problem since i have to commute over 30 miles a day. plus whenever i go visit my parents it's a 350 mile journey.
2. wish it had buttons on the steering wheel for basic controls
3. onboard comp with range and avg consumption
4. shift light...like a lotus or sti
5. auto down/up feature for the front windows
6. illimunated vanity mirrors
7. side airbags (saved my life in my old mini)

yea i know...yuppy items. i miss these items sometimes from older cars. we just need stuff to further distinguish it from a lancer for the price we pay.

My seats squeaked against the center console too. I went to the hardware store and bought some big peices of self adhesive velcro, I cut to shape and put the loop (fuzzy) side on the seats where it was touching the console and *poof* no more squeak. Best of all you would never even know it is there.

I wish the seats were easier to tilt.
