Springs or Coilover

Whatsup everyone, i am new here. Therefore i have a question about the suspension about Evo. I am think to get a new suspension, obviously the coilover is much expensive than the springs, so i want to get springs, but i have heard alot about spring which will become softer after it has been using for a while. Please give me some advices, thanks!!

no matter for daily driving or track
i will still go for coilovers, the ride quality for just springs is really bad, at least for me

i did just spring twice, and both ended up with coilovers not more than 2 weeks after the springs got install

If I had gotten an MR like you did I would get some swift springs instead of buying new coilovers. The bilstien are really good already you just have to find the right progressive springs. I wouldn't want to spend an extra 4K for an MR just to spend another 2.5K for coilovers, but it's just me.

if someone had an gsr evo 8. would you think it's cheaper to get bilstein struts with progressive springs? than just getting coilovers

You might think that, but Gruppe-S lists a set of Bilstein MR struts at $1550. Works carries the Ohlins struts and springs and that's $2K for the set. Remember, struts *are* coilovers, just without an adjustable spring perch. What you're paying for is a good damper, not anodized aluminum and a spring perch.

don't half *** your car, i learned it the hard way. get the coilovers, yes they are expensive but if you buy it, you can control you ride height raise it or lower it as you wish, and you can adjust the dampers, soft ride or hard, whatever you want. like i said don't half *** your car. get ready for a big bash too since you didn't search. search button is on top so click there first before asking questions like these

I was thinking about it, but since I am going to spend the money anyway why not get the best. I ended up getting the ZEALS function X, no regrets.

bilstein pss9 seem to be a good compromise of quality and durability
