280whp on just a tuned flash would be about right, w/ a MBC, intake, and a tune should get you around 300whp

i have an 06 BR350 #005 and this is the best driving experience i,ve ever had in my life. i,m 49 and have had over 20 cars many of them high performance cars.i had an 03 evo8 with 320whp plus lots of mods and thought that car was the best i,ve owned until i got the BR. These IX,s are fantastic cars and the BR,s are SILKY SMOOTH beasts. a car like my BR has no right being this quick, fast and SMOOTH being this quiet ( just the way i like it).

Err, I wouldn't be surprised if he is near 300whp range with just a flash depending on what gas he uses over there on a Dynojet or at least based from what I've seen.

My VIII was WAY faster than my IX is right now. My IX is stock and my VIII was not. I'm sure after a flash and stuff it'll be right where my VIII used to be. The point is the IX is not that much faster than a VIII when both are stock. It's the potential the MIVEC and bigger turbo give that make the IX so nice.

im still stuck on the wrx running 13.39. Flash, up-pipe and intercooler wont put a wrx in the low 13's. I owned a wrx for a while and in order for that car to beat an sti or evo it takes A LOT more than what he has. I love the 9 too, but the best time i have seen one run was a high 12 stock, thats only .3 faster than what he ran at 13.3. In car lenghts your talking a very small margin.

Stage 2 wrxs often don't get a low 13 second time slip on pump gas...

buddy, its much faster. We are talking about .5 seconds in 0 to 60 and QM times easily. .5 sec is alot around the track.

Sorry for those I offended about road running/racing. I wish I could say we were being really safe, but I guess that won't matter.

Okay so what do you guys feel about modding and voiding our warranty??? I mean I just spent $30K plus and put a nice down payment. I want to do mods already too, but I am afraid of voiding warranty on a brand new car.

My old wrx was used w/ 2000 miles when I bought it at a park n sell place so I didn't get a warranty and stuff went wrong, but I didnt' have a warranty, plus it may have not mattered cause I had mods. But for some reason I feel like if I put a cat-back or turbo back or a flash, mbc (simple mods) I will defeat the purpose of having my warrant

And by all means I want to mod, but that reason is holding me back. What's your opinion guys/girls?

No difference...it's still free advertising to the largest online Evo presence in the US. He's getting registered anyway, so it's no big deal.
