Which AMS turbo setup?

There are 4 kits for relatively the same price (37R, 50R, GT3076R, and GT35RL). I'm not sure which one to go with. I want the car to be a comfortable daily-driver yet still able to take it to the race track on weekends. Also, I will be using pump gas and want decent fuel efficiency. Any suggestions and advice?

Personally i like the AMS GT3076r turbo kit. Seems like its the best mix between street and track. Plus it has a really sweet name

37R is the only way to go......more power than the 35R with earlier spool. Make sure to stroke the motor, cuz they dont spin the turbo very early without the added displacement very well.

The spool is only a bit laggier than the 35R, Not quicker. The 37R will make about 75 more whp with only 300-400 R's more lag.

The 50 Trim is the ultimate street kit and run it with Alky, may was well, it kicks ***. AMS unit is kinda expensive. Try the Turbo Tricks Unit, it is like $500 less and is a custom designed turbo specifically for the Evo, it rips.

Ams's new 50 trim kit looks sick as hell. Fast spooling, great power, what more could you need?

According to the laws of demand, there would be an instant shortage of AMS turbo kits if they were free.

For a daily driver w/ stock motor don't go any bigger than the 3076R, you're sacrificing too much low-midrange power for just a few more ponies in the last 2000rpm or so.

My 3076R is about 800-1000rpm slower than stock when spooling but faster than the 35R by at least 500rpm when comparing dynograph.
Pump gas only 376 whp/312wtq at about 19lbs boost
w/ straight meth 441whp/369wtq at 27-28 lbs boost

If you look at the rpm spool range on AMS website the number listed will give you a comparative estimate between the diff turbo, use it for that purpose only.
In real life if you can get the 3076R to spool at 3500rpm it'll do so very slowly. When driving however, if you want power you have to have at least 4000rpm or higher to yield decent power.

3000rpm - 75whp/135wtq
4000rpm - 170whp/225wtq
5000rpm - 300whp/311wtq, Max tq at 4300rpm at 312 without Meth
with meth 340/360
