Mid 40's here, and I don't think I could make an hour track session without having to pee! Anyway, most are 20-40 minutes but at 5k-7.5k rpm -- I take all the revs I can get. My '03 has been through maybe 15 track weekends so far with no problem. It's amazing how one car can go from hot off the track to puttering through town for gas and lunch. Just change the oil often, the driveline fluids at least once a year, and just general good maintenance.

Mine is nearly stock, I have the Buschur TBE (you *will* want that!). I also drive mine every day. The Contour may be more comfortable, but it sits in the driveway. I'm sure an STI would be nice, too, but it's not going to be as much fun on the track. So buy the Evo and head up to Steam Corners in April!
