similar case going on here..

 

ive sold many things on this forum, but have been real busy lately due to exams, i live on campus which is not where my car is, i told both the guy who bought my dv, and 02 that ill ship as soon as i can get most of my stuff sold so i can ship out all at once, i even refunded their money AND sent the items just to show them that im not a bad guy,id rather take a couple hundred dollar hit, than to make enemies, i pmed both guys my phone number and told them to feel free to call me as i dont get online everyday but sorry bout the miscommunication i guess

 

I'm always afraid that something like this will happen to me! hopefully it works out.

 

agreed. i buy all my stuff from evasive motorsports. they're nice/respectful online AND in person.

Yes,that is now the way I conduct business here on evom as I have been burned way too many times by putting something F/S and have people say"I'll have the money by this weekend "and ten other people p.m. you saying they will pay right now,but you,the seller wants to be the nice guy and save the item for the 1st person who wanted the item right up to the point that you gave them your PAYPAL address then you never get anymore replys from that person,has happed to me at least 20 times if not more so now I just let anyone know the 1st to paypal me gets the item for sale and if 2 people end up paypaling me then that is easy to resolve,1st one gets the item and second gets the button at the bottom of the paypal recipt,the one called REFUND and they get all their money back,no paypal fee's or anything,every last cent.BTW,that has only happened to me once and wouldn't you know it was on a $1250.00 AEM EMS,the most expensive thing that I ever sold on here,go figure.
As far as vtlaxplaya016 making things right,I told you he would,he is not that kind of person and I never even got to speak to him as I left him a voice mail and have not gotten the return phone call.BTW,he is doing his exams as is everone who is currently going to UCONN.

 

vtlaxplaya16 did refund the amount and sent the bov. thank you for resolving the matter. all i suggest is simply pm or email to just let them know. like i said, i have no problem as long as i am up to date. issue resolved. good luck on the exams.

 

I wish I could take credit for resolving the matter but I have yet to talk to him since my 1st post in this thread.He is a Good Guy and Very Busy as you may know by now,and I am sure it was just one of those things where you end up spreading yourself too thin in 100 different directions at a time when you should be doing just 1 thing,Studying,as I am quite sure that going to UCONN for PRE-LAW does come 1st,and everything else in his life would be 2nd,timing is everything

 

You should really think about deleting this thread or editing your first posts. He made good on his deal, but hes still getting a lot of negative attention. Glad it all worked out for you.

 

SCrew the negative attention, I bought the Evo 9 rear bumper from him, He was very forth coming ot make sure i knew the bumper wasnt 100% fitament. He gave me his # we talked multiple times, and i met with him in person to complete the transaction. No problems what so ever with his guy, wish he had more stuff i wanted!!!

 

i had problems but they were resolved. like the guy before said, better communication could of saved everyone a lot of trouble. i guess a lesson was learned.

anyway, i got no problems with the guy now. he refunded my money (minus shipping) AND sent the part he promised. Alls well that ends well I suppose.

 

Then I guess this thread should be Removed,or Renamed VTLAXPLAYA016 Hooked us up after some MisCommunication and even gave you your $$$$ back and the Part...........
Maybe even start a new thread with link to this thread stating the outcome as the
DO NOT BUY From ########### gets everyone to READ bad stuff posted that has been Corrected.

i dont know what is going on but the guy is NOT following through (partly in my case), therefore i am not deleting the post. he sent the refund, i give him that. however, "to make things right" he said he would send the part AND refund. he stated he would rather lose a couple hundred dollars, but yet no part. i am awaiting the bov so i can follow through with my plans. vtlaxplaya16 what is up?!? by the way, the payment was sent (refunded) on 2/13/06 and it now 3/15/06 hmmm.

 

UPDATE:

I take back what i said before. he DID NOT send me the parts as promised. He DID NOT refund the rest of my money.

DO NOT BUY FROM VTLAXPLAYA016

 

bumb because VTLAXPLAYA016 screwed me and a couple other guys and everyone should know about it
