ORINGINAL POST: Purchase was made 2/13/06. Seller was contacted 2/16/06 concerning shipping information as none had been received between 2/13/06-2/16/06.

Seller was contacted on 2/20/06 asking for the location of the product stating that if the product was not shipped that I would request for the return of my funds.

Seller contacted again 2/22/06 stating he would have 24 hours to return my funds. No response.

Item purchased 2/13/06 and it is now 2/24/06, last response from seller 2/16/06.

His most recent post makes it clear he has plenty of time as he is playing with his Tein suspension as of 2/23/06, however not enough time to ship the item I purchased 11 days ago. I would not have a problem with a delay in shipment but with complete lack of communication I must present this to the community. DO NOT BUY FROM HIM.

UPDATE: Vtlaxplaya16 refunded the money and awaiting shipment of item at no cost.

 

At least he is on the boards. I bought what I thought were Evo VII taillights from PHILLYEVO, but they turned out to be painted VIII taillights! He had good feedback but now his account is disabled.

Don't deal with PHILLYEVO either.

 

Kimletrim, PhillyEvo got banned for posting stuff about PDT, unfortunately. He is a stand-up guy, so if you got screwed on a deal, he can be contacted, and I think he will amend the issue. He is, after all, on a crusade to get back at a company who terribly wronged him, so it wouldn't make sense for him to screw someone else over intentionally. Let me know if you want to get in touch with him...

 

i had paid phillyevo for an alcohol kit, but he isn't responding to my emails. Warr, some help, please?

 

I went through this with another member a few weeks back. I did receive what I paid for, but it just took him so long to ship them. I say just contact one of the mods and they will try to help you out. If you paid with paypal, you can also file a complaint there. That will usually determine whether or not someone is trying to screw you. Good luck, hope everything works out for you.

 

thanks guys. the first post is actually a copy of what i sent to paypal for the dispute. i have no problem with a late shipment, i wish he would just let me know what is going on. if you look at vtlaxplaya16's last post concerning tein suspension- he was working on it two days ago and they was another member asking where his 02 housing was.

Thats why sometimes its better to buy from vendors and not userS since vendors want to keep a good repuatation, any other Joe doesn't care, he just switches his name and no one know who he/she is.

 

oNE WOULD THINK THAT WAY BUT i HAVE BEEN THROUGH THIS SAME #HIT WITH MORE THAN 1 VENDOR ON THIS SITE.Sorry for cap's lock was on,anyways here are some quotes from vendors on these forums that I purchased from"thanks for the order,your order will ship today",then a week goes by and no parts and you contact them and "sorry for the mix-up but our inventory showed we had that,and it was a mistake so your order will ship out today,I promise",another week goes by and no parts and then it's"our shipping and recieving guy was really sick and no one else here knows how to use our UPS account,we will give you 10% off your next order",YEA,like I will order from them again,a month later my cams finally arrive(hint,hint,use your previous posts button and you can find out which vendor that was).Also went through something similar with another well known vendor that sponsers this site,and another that ships something other than what you ordered and says "sorry for the mix up,just ship that back to us and we will ship out what you really ordered".So it is not just members but vendors as well.Hell,some members on here ship out quicker than vendors and ship what you actually purchased,granted that some vendors are way too BUSY to care,but some actually have their *hit together.

 

Hey man I will give you that too. Some take forever to ship and all the BS that you mention I also heard it but I had more of those problems with Users, Now I just try to deal with Vendors even though I have to wait forever to ship.

 

Ahh... the beauty of buying stuff sight unseen from unseen strangers... I feel for ya though... I think a week is a reasonable time for anyone to ship out stuff that's already been paid for. Any longer than that is really pushing the boundaries of being a responsible seller.

 

Not true, I got an used AEM EMS when I should've gotten a new one..from a "gold vendor". Morale of the story is....do tons of research and GET YOUR RECEIPT right then and there!

 

Its hard deals seem good then you get owned!!
Just report to police and tell him and trust hell refund!!

Has anyone run into the member that has something for sale and tells you who ever get the money to their paypal account first gets the item? So if I'm the second I just have to trust that the smuck will send me my money back in a reasonable time frame? WTF?
