New Evo Owner here...

So I finally got to get my Evo and I can say that I am 100% satisfied with the car. It is a white 2003 and me and my wife love it.

I was hoping to maybe get some advice on what would be important to check up on with this car as it is used and who knows how the previous owner drove it. It is in immaculate condition and the inside looks like an 05 or 06.

Im glad to be able to get on this site now and actually be an owner of one, and not someone aspiring to own one.

-Chris

Congrats on your purchase, I hope you enjoy your EVO. Remember you have to take care of the car and she will take care of you.

Congrats on your evo. It's a awesome car. It's fast out of the box and it had tremendous upside if you decide to mod. Good Luck

Congrats and have all the fun you can with it. Depending on the miles, you might want to change out all the fluids, oil, tranny, etc.

Congrats! Welcome to the club. I would just do normal maintnance, oil and fluids, and check brakes + clutch. Also if you are paraniod like me, i would scan the car for codes.....just in case. Odds are you will just have alot of fun with the car!

We are loving it so far... its amazing. Ive never had so much fun every time I get in the car to drive. I have one of the very few of them here in a city of about 40-50,000. I dont think most people here can afford them, but I am an Army recruiter and no matter where I live I get payed the same . So it gets allot of looks and breaks kids necks around here which is awesome. There are a few wrx's and STI's, but at this time I only know of 2 other evo's in the army, although I am sure there are a few more.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone .

Welcome to the group.
Change all your fluids, tranny, transfer case, and diff, regularly. Check out Buschur's mods. For short money he and warrtallon can really have your car moving.
Keep us up to date.
