Good choice of parts man! Our shop Evo runs on a JUN all the way 4G63 from the stroker to the camshaft kit, GT35R, HKS R-type IC, and Motec M800. The car made more than 700+whp on only 2bar. For tranny, we placed in a Holinger Dog Change Kit and Exedy Tripple plate

Turns out to be cheaper to send the car over here for some TLC and some worthy moding and then sending it back, then to get it done over there.

Figured you guys would enjoy a foreign evo:

Picked her up from the port. boy she needed a bath

interior needs cleaning after that long trip across the ocean

sneak peak at the aux fuel tank. its nice to have around 30 gallons of gas... only have to fill up every blue moon!

The new setup will include:

Jun Stroker
Cosworth head
Jun cams
Full-race manifold
GT35R
HKS IC
and some other goodies (suspension, big brake kit etc.)

built and tuned by me

should be a fun project. we are gonna get some sick pump gas numbers out of her. its being built specifically with high speed runs in mind.

wow crazy, we were just talking about the dog box when we run into issues with this tranny. i hear holinger is the way to go.

sounds like i might be building your twin, its already got aem ems and exedy twin. so we're going to use that. but motec is an excellant choice.

what head are you guys running?

im very curious to see how good this new cosworth head is. i saw the flow charts and they've made some very impressive gains over the stock port.

everyone keeps asking why we dont use a bigger turbo. i want to prove it doesnt take the biggest turbo out there to make rock solid numbers.

ive been tuning for quite some time, and some of the fastest cars are indeed running not the biggest turbos.

Everything is JUN, well except for the pistons since it is Cosworth who builds them for JUN. But the whole engine crate is JUN. We had to send in the old block for the new crate. Yes Motec is outstanding but outstanding on the pockets too. We went from Motec M800, PLM, and CDI/8.

And that is very true about the turbo. We never boosted more than 30PSI and yet the car made 700+whp and a track record of 9.7secs @ 144mph. So it is not always about the turbo since at Autoplus, we make sure we extract full power at every lb of boost. The JUN parts are perfect for such a project. And to tell you, it is easy to use on the streets.

FYI, our Skyline GTR R34 made a stunning 887whp at only 2bar, pump gas. It uses also a JUN RB26DETT race engine, twin HKS GT3240 turbos, Motec M880, Holinger Sequential, and other JDM goodies. We are looking at 1200whp by mid year, but right now, our shop has the world's most powerful R34 GTR converted to LHD.

Cheers to that

Check out the fastest Skylines in Japan and in the world. They never went beyond a GT35R. The Croydon Racing R33 of Exvitermini made 8.2secs on only GT35R and JUN products. Same goes for the Veilside GTR.

With his choice of parts, I assure u it wont need a big turbo like a 42R to make more than 700whp or for it to go beyond 30PSI.

Mase: Try to check this. When we were using an OS Giken twin-plate with the car tuned to 700whp, the clutch still kept slipping. Try to see going tripple if you are planning to go beyond such power. if not more than 600, the twin plate would do.

im not sure if the AEM can also control the SAYC. If not, try using the Vpro or Motec. oh well, if u will use it for the track, it would help. though we havnt used yet an AEM for an Evo, I guess u would be the best person to give us feedbacks when everything is running well.
