i like this part

"However, we were only able to get these numbers by defeating the Evo's 5,500-rpm launch limiter, which is active when the car is stationary and the clutch pedal is all the way in. Try this on your personal Evo and you risk voiding the warranty if something goes wrong."

I thought that quote was interesting too, how is using a factory feature going to void the warranty?

So does that mean that they Flashed the ECU in the test against the STi?

are there other ways to get rid of the rev-limiter and only the rev-limiter??

I believe there is a way to mechanically disable the launch limiter... No reflash needed.

Just out of curiosity while this topic is up, so what do the reps at medina mitsu do that offer the BR Packages from Buschur, does the dealership have to agree not to void the warranty?? i mean i know or don't think they get flashed?? (someone clear this up for me) but how does that work i mean there are peopel that got their warrant's voided for smaller stuff, my cousin got his voided for a CAI on his SRT-4.

Maybe there is something in the small print when you buy it that already says the warranty is voided LOL!! j/k someone that knows for sure please clear this up for me
