Has this happened to anyone. I was driving around pretty hard and the brakes were really hot, I heard a suction sound after I parked and found it on the ground.

It could happen. Did you wash the car right before this all happened. Moisture behind the center cap could have started boiling and built up enough pressure to pop it off. I know it sounds crazy, but it happens.

 

it rained all morning maybe that's what caused it

 

That very well could have been the culprit.
