What are the most used exhaust systems (catback)

What is different about the 4g63 in an AWD eclipse from a 2003 evo liek what turbo does the evo have etc.

exhaust in an exhaust, just make sure to get a TBE. also alot will say buschur or what not, get what sounds right for you and what works with your price. there isnt that much difference in hp/tq gains between different exhausts.

Being a old school DSM guy too, I will tell you this, none of the old tricks work its the same engine but more refined and the ECU is even more stubborn.
1.Exhaust is up to you and how much you want to spend, 20 people will tell you 20 different exhausts are the most used.
2.The turbo in a IX is a 20g, XIII 16g, 05's have the 10.5 hot side though.
3. the engine in the EVO is tranversly mounted, or the EVO guys would say the DSM is transverse, either way it faces the opposite direction as a DSM, so your tranny and your intake are on the drivers side now, turbo faces and spins the opposite way, etc. the belt system is now serpentine instead of the 4 or 5 that the eclipse ran.

look at the buschur/warrtalon package, IMO thats the best power for the money and what I am saving up for, there's also vishnu and machV, browse the sateged upgrades on the sites, those are researched and proven

The IX has a 16g wheel, but a larger compressor cover.

There is no 20g on any Evo in the US. The IX has a 16g6 with the 10.5 hotside, but the compressor cover is larger. It is _NOT_ a 20g.

You can get the details of the Warrtalon/Buschur packages by clicking on the link in your sig. You do not need an intake, and you only need a BOV if you have an VIII and raise your boost over stock. The Evo is similar in its mod progression to our beloved DSMs, but they're not exact. The Evo already has some very nice parts that don't have to be upgraded, which is contrary to the 1G/2Gs.

PM me if you have any questions and be careful with your extremely simple newbie questions, because we aren't fond of that (especially me). The ADVANCED SEARCH tool is your friend and will answer all of your questions. It's best to search for a long time first, learn as much as possible, then formulate educated questions before posting new threads. Also, some people just prefer to PM me directly so as to avoid any backlash in the forums. I answer all PMs and IMs quickly.
