I got a speeding ticket!!! Can I fight this??

well the first trooper most likely got on the radio and had his buddy catch up with you.... if you fight it just hope both cops dont show up to court...the first trooper is the sweeper, there were probably a few other cops behind the first...

There is no way that theis cop got my license plate. He was on the other side of the highway trapped in between 2 cars. There is no way that he can say that he got my license plate. Absolutely no way. He just followed the group of cars that I was with to find me.

O the other side of the highway... my bad... damn you will win that one in court... was it radar, vascar or a pace that he was able to time you??

If you have the time and your record is relatively clean (no tickets in the last year), its almost always worthwhile to contest the ticket. In WA or OR, the judge will typically halve the fine and/or conditionally strike the ticket from your record if you don't get another ticket in a year.

I've heard speed traps are illegal but i've never known anyone to get out of an airplane tracked ticket in either California or Nevada.
