It's what keeps the car unique, having it limited. Don't you think that the Evo was popular in Japan and Europe? Don't you think they would have made more over there if they didn't mind keeping it not limited? The Evo has ALWAYS been limited and will continue to be. They see what Subaru did by screwing up the WRX and making it a common sight. They won't repeat that mistake.

Expect Subaru to make a VERY limited number of STI's as well.

Plus, as themothership has said, the Evo is here to stay. The 2004 Model Year Evo may come out when the other 2004 Lancers do or they may just wait till March 2004 to release the Evo. Whatever the case is, I'll be trading mine in if it has additional performance pieces that the 2003 is missing.
I don't think that they'll release the new Evo w/ the new Lancers. Two completely different types of cars for two completely different markets. I expect the new Evo to be released not until Jan/Feb.

Plus, noone ever said that it was going to be an Evo 9. Most Evolutions are 2 - 3 years apart. My guess is that next years Evo (2004) will just be a little more refined, if at all, maybe a 6 speed. Doubtful any electronic stuff.

Why u say no electronic stuff. I'm still yet to determine it's gimmic or really performance? Personally i really hope the STi will squash my car so, will give us more performance/hp or whichever? Competition is good for us consumers.

I feel if we get "acd or not" will be basied on evo sales VS. STi sale. For now i hope sti wins so i know Mitsubishi would make more of an effort to bring us JDM specs.

Any news on Ralliart performance parts such as ECU to match the STi? Perhaps June would be a wise choice for
