i would, i drive most of my 98 mile trek to work on the highway and im in my golf most of the time. but i will help a fellow EVO, STI, WRX owner out in a minute.
I've stopped for plenty of people and offered my cell phone and any help I can offer. There is nothing worse than being stuck on the side with no offer of help...I've been on that end. Now if your a hot girl you get a screeching halt right next to you plus everybody and their mom stopping behind you to rush to her aid...funny how that works.

I feel the same way.
I would and have helped many people out from helping with a spare or just having my lights on so they could see what they are doing, I have been on that end where nobody wants to help that time i crashed on the freeway blocking the 2 left lanes of course forgot the phone at home all i got was people honking and **** had to wait on the side of the road for 52 minutes until the police were able to get through.
i was driving on rt 80 east and got a flat. now i already had a flat a few days befor so i had my donut on and i was in a jam. i sat on the side of the road without a cell phone cause i forgot to charge it. well here came a white evo and pulled up behind me. he lent me his spare tire and i gave it back to him the next week when i got new tiers put on. i gave him his spare tire back and i treated him to breakfast and gave him 100.00 bucks for his kindness.
if that evo owner reads this thanks so so so much.

it good to see that we're willing to help each other. Here in Oregon evos are not that common, i go weeks, even months without seeing one other than my own, and i drive 50 miles of interstate everyday to work... i wish i saw more evos. When i see one i get soooo happy. hehe
dude, if you were stopped I'd probably help out (tho i prob cant do anyting) but you were still in motion, how would the guy even try to wave you down?
i mean i think you should cut him some slack, if I saw some guy driving slow with hazards on I would automatically think you're waiting for someone not really assuming somethings up with your car. if you were pulled over, had your hood up and looking very frustrated, thats another story.

I would stop as long as there was no risk of causing an accident and I didn't have my wife with me. I passed one Evo on the side of the road and I wanted to stop but it was bumper to bumper at about 80 and I was in the fast lane. No sense in causing an accident and I had somewere to be. I felt like crap for driving on though.
These nice people keep saying they would offer their cell phone and that is cool but all that keeps going through my mind is: If someone is driving a $30,000 car I would hope they have their own cell phone. If not they need to reprioritize. I guess they might not have service or something and it is a nice gesture which is cool.
