I honestly do not know what to believe. My experience with PD was positive. Nick put more time in on my car on the dyno then at any past tuning session by far. His fuel mapping seemed sound and the car has run consitently well on the street. I made pretty good power even with a BOV that decided to blow open at 21psi. Unfortunately I cant judge the timing section of the map (which is the most crucial) since I never saw it for obvious reasons. The talk floating around is worrisome though..

I wanted to get the issue with my lower intercooler pipe sorted out before it snowed ( I only have half the under panel on now if you remember it didnt fit good and you couldnt fit it on). I was supposed to have the one from you that you were supposed to powerdercoat back in June. Also I wanted to order a catch can and get it installed. Im having less problems with the clutch as im getting used to it, but Im having problems getting into first and reverse( see if you could check it out). Please let me know if you have time for me, because I really want to get this intercooler pipe issue resolved , catch can installed, and have you look at the trans. Thanks.
John,
Im sorry but I have also been out of town, And bombarded at the shop. I am doing the best that I can.
It is hard to get back to everyone right away. Dealing with 30-40 people a day gets tiring as well.
When I get home I really feel like seperating myslelf from the business, so I don't even go into the voicemail.
I am sorry John.
Lets see if adjusting the clutch will help with the shifting patterns.
Also when would you like to come in so that we may get you all sorted out for the lower IC piping.
I will try my best to squeeze you in this week.
Call me on Tuesday.
Thank you for your patience.

My post was made independent of yours/Philly EVO/Abner's situations. As i said what im hearing from a business ethics standpoint is worrisome...

I honestly don't know what to believe about the shop overall/nick's tuning i meant.

I was the same way, I never had a thought in my mind that I would get as screwed as I did, I was just a kid who wanted to make his evo a little faster, and Nick looked at me, and a few other customers, and just got horny thinking about all the money he could make.

I totally understand. Really sucks that the auto modification scene is such a cut throat business. I've had a distaste for it ever since i started modifying my car. I enjoy the community aspect of owning a car like this but we as an owner base are a large pool of tappable revenue and every vendor around knows that. I trust no one in this business, and few in any other aspect as a general "life" rule.

Luckily, this forum as a resource allows you to broaden your knowledge over time and rely less on others to make positive gains with your car.

Hopefully your issues were limited to that catch can...

Actually its the least of my concerns... just its the easiest one to laugh about. The best one is when I was carless for a week for a clutch install, then he calls me to say my transfercase blew up...

Wow... sorry to hear about that. I have a real fear of ever having any major work done on my car that I cant do myself. Its the reason why im still choking my engine with the stock cams and nursing along my stock clutch...

They were just in Englishtown! I don't see how they are closed. Theres cars there getting worked on as we speak. Also, licensing & inspections didn't shut them down. Sorry to burst all your bubbles. Mike, You really played them like violins. That was funny.
