feeling kinda disgusted about evos =(
I bought one of the only Evo's my dealership sold...all the others were bought from out of town...I havent seen another evo around for over a year
I think the only reason you said more Evo's than Civics, is b/c you would be more likely to notice an Evo than a Civic... I wouldnt mind seeing an evo every now and again...however I think I would feel a little less exclusive if I saw 5 or so a day...so I would just mod the hell out of mine to make it unique...

There are ALOT of evo's around here I would agree...there are also LS1's and LT1's up the ***...vettes everywhere, 1g's and 2g's like its nobodys business, and srt4's are like every highschoolers first car....but at the same time your talking about a large city and it's suburbs which happens to have many reputible shops (AMS, Speed Inc, Sound Performance, Divo Tuning, etc.) the car scene is much larger than in say Arkansas....
And as far as the evo itself goes...obviously with the insane price drop since last year as well as 8's having been around in the states now for a few years and the mileage starting to get up there...it's not hard to find an evo for around 20K if not less..VS. about this time last year when I bought my car and most evo's sold for around 26-28K used...your going to find more and more people owning them & more and more people who have it just to have it VS car enthusiasts

i'd be very thankful and happy to see so many evos. Don't take the for granted, they are a heavenly site...hehe. The reason i say this is because here in OR/WA you see about 3-4 Sti's to 1 evo, SUCKS... lol, almost every STI i see is a hick driving it. haha.. I drove by an STI once and i got next to him on the freeway, i looked over and there was about a 55 year old (nothing wrong with that) guy with a cowboy hat on and a checkered button up shirt.... i gave him
and he looked at me like WTF you giving me a thumb up for?
i was laughing for miles

Well around here all I see are riced up POS civics absolutely every day and crap like that. I see STi's almost every day, and Evo's are not so common, unless i'm with my friend who's got an Evo of course. I have grown to hate Honda because I think I may have seen some of the worst looking Honda's in the world around here, and I could'nt bring myself to buy one, even an S2000. The memories of dented up and rusting non-vtec d series civics running around with GT-R stickers, 12" plastic spinners, hood latches that dont even do anything, OBX exhausts, Iceman intakes, cracked Altezza talights, and 50 dollar horns that mimick the sounds of Blow Off Valves, are just non-removable from my mind......That's what I'm digusted about, I even get sick sometimes just thinking about it.....
yeah, I see a ton around here as well. Not 4 or 5 a day, but probably 4 or 5 a week. All of 'em I've encountered have always been really nice as well. Definitely more STi's here than Evos though.

Yeah I have only ever seen 2 other evos on the road (when Im at buschur racing it doesnt count). Everyone is always looking and pointing. When my girlfriend is in the car and i always mess with her and say do you know that guy he was staring at you.

You don't get it I guess, It's too difficult to explain. but it runs along the lines of taking pride in what you have built/made or that path that brought you there, like doing a stroker kit cause the engine blew as opposed to just building it up because you have money to burn. All evos, regardless of the mods, have a story. I love my evo, and I appreciate all people that have the same enthusiasm for the car as I do.
